James Davidson - Chairman of the BoardJames Davidson is an entrepreneur, analyst and author of investment books and publications, and founder of Agora, Inc. a worldwide publishing group with offices in Baltimore, London, Dublin, Paris, Johannesburg and Frankfurt. He also founded The Hulbert Financial Digest and NewsMax Media. In conjunction with Lord Rees-Mogg, former editor of the Times of London, he co-authored a series of books on financial markets, including Blood in the Streets, The Great Reckoning, and The Sovereign Individual.

Davidson is the Chairman of Wharekauhua Holdings, Ltd, Featherston, New Zealand, owners of the Wharekauhau Lodge, a small luxury hotel that has rated among the world's leading hideaway resorts. Davidson is a current or former director of a number of companies, including Anatolia Minerals Development, Ltd., Banco Comafi, Buenos Aires, Argentina, BEVsystems, Inc., New World Premium Brands, Wellington, New Zealand, Plasmar, S.A., La Pax, Bolivia, and Power Channel Holdings. In 1992, Davidson was appointed economic advisor to the former Soviet Republic of Belarus. Davidson earned an M. Litt. in economics and politics from Oxford University.
