Founder and CEO

Tara A. Lordi - Founder and CEOTara A. Lordi is the chief executive officer and founder of Wellington Technology, Inc. She founded WTC in February 2004 while consulting her financial institutions regarding their mortgage outsourcing needs. She served as Managing Director of Institutional Lending at American Home Mortgage, a division of American Home Mortgage Holdings the 14th largest retail mortgage lender in the nation. She was with American Home Mortgage for over seven years and was the chief architect in developing the Bank Outsource/Private Label program for AHM. Her responsibilities included technology development, product expansion, engineering pricing models, and constructing detailed reports for data mining needs. In addition, she was also responsible for expanding the number of Financial Institutions joining this innovative program and then effectively managing the implementation and success of each institution.

Before joining American Home Mortgage Tara was Vice President of Strategic Development for Ulster Scientific of New Paltz, NY. Ulster Scientific was one of very first firms to pioneer home blood glucose testing. Home blood glucose testing has proven to be an effective way for Diabetics to normalize blood sugar levels. Tara worked on product development, advertising, and marketing. In addition, she was also involved in Capital Raising activities geared toward R&D and orchestrated the successful sale of the company in 1997.

Tara was also the co-founder and President of Ulster International. Ulster International was a New York based distribution company focused on the Equestrian related products. Tara was responsible for cultivating relationships in England, Germany, and Belgium to manufacturer and private label products such as saddles, bridles, clothing and therapeutic riding equipment for both horse and rider. Ulster International had exclusive agreements to market and resell these products throughout the United States. Tara sold Ulster International in 1995 to a larger competitor which currently still uses the Ulster name today.

Tara is also a 20 year veteran equestrian rider having competed successfully on the national as well as international Grand Prix circuit. She has been named Professional Horseman Rider of the year in 1989. She also received the bronze medal for the young riders United States Equestrian Team Equitation competition in 1989. Tara is a graduate of Marist College with a B.S in Business Administration.
